I am an integrative counsellor, trained in a range of counselling approaches and therapeutic models. I value this way of working because it allows me to be holistic and flexible, tailoring our work together to what you most need. I believe no two people are the same, so I aim to meet you where you are and walk alongside you on your journey.
I offer a free 20-minute online introductory chat so we can see if we feel like a good fit and explore how I can best support you. After this, I offer weekly 50-minute online sessions. Following our first six sessions, we will review how things are going and whether any adjustments would be helpful.
I currently volunteer with a regional charity supporting people affected by eating disorders and have focused on this area throughout my training. I also have a particular interest in ADHD and autism. Before qualifying as a counsellor, I worked in care for 15 years with people with a wide range of needs and conditions, and later specialised in one-to-one work with neurodiverse individuals.
I aim to create a warm, non-judgemental space where you can feel understood and safe to explore your concerns at your own pace. I believe that with the right support at the right time, you can grow in confidence, trust your own abilities, and face life’s challenges with greater resilience.
Penny offers a warm, non-judgemental and flexible therapeutic space where you can feel understood and explore what is happening in your life at your own pace. Her integrative approach means therapy can be adapted to you rather than expecting you to fit into one particular way of working.
Penny can support eating disorders and disordered eating difficulties, anxiety, depression, wider emotional and mental health concerns, and challenges that may come with neurodiversity. She also has a particular interest in ADHD and autism.
Penny offers a free 20-minute online introductory chat to help you decide whether working together feels right. If you decide to continue, sessions are held online for 50 minutes at £40 per session. After the first six sessions, you and Penny will review how therapy is progressing and whether any changes would be helpful.
