About the Therapist

Nigel Jordan is an experienced Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with more than five years of experience supporting clients across online therapy, face-to-face counselling, community mental health, refugee services, and Employee Assistance Programmes.

Nigel works with people experiencing anxiety, depression, complex trauma, relationship and marital difficulties, workplace concerns, and wider emotional challenges. He has also worked extensively with refugees and asylum seekers, providing person-centred support where mental health difficulties may be accompanied by language barriers, social pressures, uncertainty, and significant changes in life circumstances.

His approach is integrative and personalised, allowing therapy to be adapted to the individual rather than relying on one fixed therapeutic model. Nigel combines careful listening, clinical assessment, risk awareness, and collaborative therapeutic work to help clients understand their difficulties, develop coping strategies, and work towards meaningful change.

What to Expect

Nigel offers a supportive and personalised therapeutic space where clients can discuss anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, work difficulties, and other emotional challenges without judgement.

His integrative approach allows sessions to be adapted to each person’s needs and circumstances. Therapy may involve exploring emotional experiences and relationship patterns, understanding the impact of trauma, developing practical coping strategies, or using grounding techniques to manage anxiety and emotional distress.

Nigel also brings experience working with people whose mental health is affected by migration, asylum, social or economic pressure, employment concerns, or significant changes in life circumstances. His aim is to help clients feel heard, strengthen their ability to cope, and work towards greater emotional stability and wellbeing.
