About the Therapist
Anna Critsinelis is an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults across private practice, Employee Assistance Programmes, online therapy, educational settings and community services.
Anna works in an integrative and evidence-informed way, drawing primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred counselling and psychodynamic-informed approaches. She also incorporates DBT-informed techniques to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness where appropriate.
Her areas of experience include anxiety, depression and low mood, trauma, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, workplace stress, burnout, adjustment difficulties, identity development and wider emotional concerns.
Anna has a strong focus on neurodiversity-affirming practice and works with autistic clients, people with ADHD and people with AuDHD. She adapts therapy to take account of individual cognitive, sensory, communication and emotional needs rather than expecting every client to engage with therapy in the same way.
Her approach is collaborative and tailored to the individual, helping clients understand what they are experiencing, develop practical coping strategies and build greater emotional awareness, resilience and confidence.
