Allan Brooks is a dedicated person-centred counsellor with over three years of experience providing both short-term and long-term therapy to adult clients from a wide range of backgrounds. He has worked with people facing diverse emotional, mental health, and physical health challenges, including the impact of long-term illness, disability, caring responsibilities, bereavement, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties.
His approach is empathic, non-judgemental, and supportive, creating a safe space where clients can explore difficult experiences at their own pace. Allan is experienced in both remote and face-to-face delivery, offering therapy through video, audio, telephone, text-based support, and in-person work.
Allan offers a calm, supportive, and respectful space where clients can talk openly about the challenges they are facing. His person-centred approach places importance on empathy, acceptance, and helping clients feel genuinely heard, whether they are dealing with mental health concerns, relationship difficulties, bereavement, or the emotional impact of illness and caring responsibilities.
Sessions are tailored to the individual and can be offered in different formats depending on what feels most accessible and comfortable. Allan’s aim is to support clients in exploring their experiences safely and developing greater clarity, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.
