About the Therapist

Dr Chloe Bamboulis is an HCPC-Registered Clinical Psychologist with specialist expertise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and EMDR.

She has extensive clinical experience across NHS and private settings since 2016, working with a wide range of complex psychological presentations across adult mental health, autism, learning disabilities, personality disorders, CAMHS, older adult services and severe mental illness.

Chloe has worked in specialist CBT roles since 2018 and within a focused Clinical Psychology remit since 2022. Her practice is grounded in detailed psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based intervention, with therapy tailored to the individual rather than relying on a single standardised approach.

She brings a thoughtful, collaborative and clinically rigorous approach to therapy, helping clients understand the psychological patterns, experiences and wider systems that may be contributing to their difficulties.

Chloe’s background in Clinical Psychology, CBT and EMDR allows her to work with both straightforward and more complex presentations while maintaining careful attention to risk, psychological safety and the wider context of each person’s life.

Her aim is to help clients develop a clearer understanding of their difficulties, strengthen their psychological resources and work towards meaningful and sustainable change.

What to Expect

Chloe offers a thoughtful, collaborative and clinically grounded therapeutic space where difficulties can be explored in depth and understood within the wider context of your experiences.

Her work begins with developing a clear understanding of what is happening for you. Psychological assessment and formulation can help identify patterns between thoughts, emotions, behaviours, relationships, life experiences and the circumstances surrounding your current difficulties.

Depending on your needs, therapy may draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR and broader Clinical Psychology approaches. The therapeutic plan is shaped around the individual rather than expecting every person to respond to the same model.

Chloe has extensive experience working with more complex presentations, including neurodivergence, learning disabilities, personality-related difficulties, severe mental illness and psychological difficulties affecting children, young people, adults and older adults.

Her aim is to combine psychological understanding with practical, evidence-based therapy to help clients develop greater insight, strengthen coping resources and move towards meaningful and sustainable change.
