What to Expect

James offers a supportive, client-led space where you can discuss what is happening in your life without pressure or judgement. He understands that different people benefit from different ways of working, so sessions can combine reflective conversation with structured and practical therapeutic techniques.

Depending on your needs, therapy may include person-centred exploration, CBT-informed strategies, solution-focused work, creative methods, or support with relationships and personal development. James will work collaboratively with you to understand your difficulties, identify your goals, and develop an approach that feels relevant and manageable.

He can support people experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, self-harm, relationship concerns, workplace pressures, and other emotional challenges. Where someone requires urgent or emergency mental health intervention, appropriate crisis or emergency services should also be contacted.
